A scholarship to Moscow, and a group.

It began with a young doctor who left Sri Lanka on a scholarship to Moscow and came back a businessman. Dr Sanjaya Sedara Senarath founded the Group in 1991 and built it across six sectors before his death in 2025. It is now carried forward by his family.

The Sanjaya Foundation

Each year the Sanjaya Foundation runs medical camps, supports charitable organisations and contributes to disaster relief across Sri Lanka. It carries the founder's name and continues the work he began.
